Bump to Baby is not a separate session. It is a way of booking two sessions — your maternity session and a newborn session — as one plan, arranged before either one takes place. Natalie photographs both of them.

It suits you if you already know that you want both parts of this season photographed: the pregnancy, and then the child who follows it.
What booking both sessions together adds
This part deserves a precise explanation, because a bundle usually suggests a discount and this plan does not work that way. Booking both sessions together does not lower the price of either session. What it adds is three specific things.
The first is one planning conversation that covers both sessions instead of two separate ones. Natalie talks through the maternity session and the newborn session with you in the same conversation: what you would like each one to look like, how they relate to each other, and what you would like to be holding at the end of it.
The second is a $100 print credit.
The third is priority booking for the newborn date. A newborn date depends on a birth rather than a calendar, and booking the plan gives your newborn date priority. The timing itself is confirmed when you book.
One photographer, from pregnancy to newborn
Natalie photographs both sessions in this plan: the maternity session while you are expecting, and the newborn session once your baby has arrived. The person who photographed the pregnancy is the same person who meets the child who follows it.
That continuity is what the plan is built around. By the time of the newborn session, Natalie already knows your family, the tones you chose for the maternity portraits, and what you hoped the two sets would say together. The newborn session begins from a conversation you have already had, rather than from the beginning with someone new.
Why plan them together
Two sessions planned in one conversation tend to look as though they belong to each other. Tone, color, and the way the images sit side by side become decisions you make once, in advance, rather than something you discover afterward, when the two sets do not belong together on a wall.
There is also a practical reason. Planning the newborn session while you are still pregnant means the decisions are made at a time when you have the capacity to make them. The first weeks at home with a newborn are rarely a time when planning comes easily.
The maternity side of the plan
The maternity session in this plan is the same maternity session Natalie photographs for every other client, at the studio in Roseville, at one of the three experience levels: Light $1,099, Comfort $1,499, Premium $1,799. You choose the level you prefer, and that choice remains independent of the plan.
The studio wardrobe belongs to the maternity session and includes gowns, fabrics, bodysuits, accessories, and statement pieces. The session is fully guided throughout, including posing, posture, hands, chin, and expression. You are not expected to arrive knowing how to model.
The newborn side of the plan
The newborn session in this plan is the same newborn session Natalie photographs for every other family, at one of three packages. Each package includes its own wraps, outfits, and props, and one backdrop color on the posing table.
- Tender, $1,099. Your baby, with a mini session for parents. 3 setups, 2 wraps, 1 outfit, 3 props, up to 2.5 hours or until all setups are completed, and 12 fully edited digital photos.
- Precious, $1,499. Your baby, with a session for parents and siblings. 4 setups, 2 wraps, 2 outfits, 4 props, up to 3 hours or until all setups are completed, and 20 fully edited digital photos.
- Heirloom, $1,799. Your baby with parents, siblings, grandparents, and pets. 5 setups, 3 wraps, 2 outfits, 5 props, up to 4 hours or until all setups are completed, and 30 fully edited digital photos.
The newborn session can take place at the studio or in your home. For an in-home session, Natalie brings all props, outfits, and equipment, so the photographs keep their studio quality without you leaving the house. The in-home fee is $100 with Tender and Precious, and it is included with Heirloom.
About the price
Bump to Baby is not a discount, and each session keeps its own price. The maternity session is Light $1,099, Comfort $1,499, or Premium $1,799. The newborn session is Tender $1,099, Precious $1,499, or Heirloom $1,799.
The plan starts from $2,198, which is the Light maternity experience and the Tender newborn package together. You choose each level on its own. What the plan adds on top of the two sessions is the planning conversation, the $100 print credit, and priority booking for the newborn date.
