Newborn photography in Roseville
A newborn session at Natalie Vell Studio is photographed by Natalie herself, either at the private studio in Roseville or in your own home. There are three newborn packages, Tender, Precious and Heirloom, starting at $1,099, and each one is set out in full further down this page.

Natalie photographs every newborn session herself, from the first setup to the last. That is true whichever package you choose, and whether the session takes place at the studio or in your home.
Families come to Natalie from Roseville, Sacramento, the Bay Area and across Northern California.
At the studio or in your home
You choose where your newborn session takes place. The studio is private and open by appointment, at 1220 Melody Lane, Suite 180, Roseville, CA 95678.
If you would rather stay at home, Natalie comes to you and brings all of the props, outfits and equipment with her, so you receive studio-quality photographs without leaving the house. An in-home session carries a $100 fee with the Tender and Precious packages, and it is included with Heirloom.
What a newborn session covers
Every newborn package is built from the same parts, in different amounts:
- A set number of setups.
- Wraps and outfits for your baby.
- Props.
- The posing table, with one backdrop color.
- Fully edited digital photos, with extra fully edited images available at $10 each.
Each package runs up to a set length, or until all of its setups are completed. The exact number of setups, wraps, outfits, props and photos in each package is shown on the package cards below.
Parents, siblings, grandparents and pets
Every newborn package includes parents as well as your baby. Tender adds a mini session for parents. Precious includes a session for parents and siblings. Heirloom includes parents, siblings, grandparents and pets.
With Tender or Precious, additional family members can join for $50 per person. That is also how siblings are added to a Tender session.
Retouching
Retouching polishes a photograph without erasing the person in it. It is kept gentle and realistic, so your baby still looks like your baby, and you still look like yourself.
Choosing a package and booking
The three newborn packages are Tender at $1,099, Precious at $1,499 and Heirloom at $1,799. They differ in who is photographed, in the number of setups, wraps, outfits and props, in the length of the session, and in how many fully edited digital photos you receive.
To book, contact the studio with the package you have in mind, whether you would like the session at the studio or at home, and who you would like in the photographs. The timing of your session is confirmed with you when you book.
